Background & Experience

Kevin O’Reilly is a commercial real estate professional with 15 years of experience advising institutional investors, developers, and private owners. He co-leads the Multifamily Investment Division at NAI Wisinski of West Michigan, where he specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets and development sites throughout the region.

Since joining NAI in late 2021, Kevin has closed well in excess of $100 million in transactions and was promoted to Director in 2023. Some notable projects include the acquisition of a 700-bed student housing community in Kalamazoo, the recapitalization of a 248-unit market-rate multifamily asset in Grand Rapids involving multiple ownership entities, the sale of a 117-unit (468-bed) student housing property in Big Rapids, in a market facing enrollment declines, and the sale of a 71-unit adaptive reuse multifamily asset in Belding. Each of these projects required sophisticated financial modeling, strategic market positioning, and a data-driven approach, ultimately delivering high-impact, successful outcomes for each of his clients.

Kevin frequently works with third-party debt providers to support acquisition, disposition and development financing—sourcing agency and bank debt quotes, evaluating feasibility, and aligning underwriting with current capital market conditions.

Before joining NAI, Kevin worked in Dublin, Ireland with Avison Young, where he helped lead the office acquisitions team. He oversaw search acquisitions for domestic and multinational occupiers, including Bloomberg’s Brexit contingency planning and Hubspot’s 110,000 SF European headquarters.

Outside of work, Kevin is an avid golfer and former elite athlete, having represented Dublin in hurling at all levels and winning provincial and national titles at inter-county and university level. He also enjoys spending time with his family along the lakeshore and tackling home improvement projects at their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
