YoChef’s Catering Company’s new location at Chateau Village
NAI Wisinski of West Michigan is pleased to announce that YoChef’s Catering Company has leased 3,022 square feet at 1760 44th St SE in the Chateau Village retail center in Wyoming, MI.
The space was previously occupied by Pac Brazil Restaurant and will soon become the new home of YoChef’s Kitchen, an expansion of YoChef’s Catering Company that will introduce a café concept serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Rod Alderink of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented the landlord in the lease transaction. “YoChef’s brings a unique and well-established local brand to Chateau Village,” said Rod. “Chef Joseff has built a strong reputation in the West Michigan market, and this location provides the visibility, access, and parking needed to support the continued growth of his business.”
Founded by Chef Joseff VanHorn, YoChef’s Catering Company has been serving the West Michigan community since 2009. Chef Joseff began his culinary career at age 15 working in fine dining kitchens and developing his skills under experienced chefs in both Grand Rapids and San Diego. After years of experience as a general manager and executive chef, he launched YoChef’s Catering Company with a focus on flavorful food and exceptional service.
Chef Joseff’s culinary work has also included serving as personal chef for cast and crew members of several films produced in West Michigan, preparing meals for both local professionals and celebrities including Louis Fletcher, Ernest Borgnine, Bruce Willis, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
The move to Chateau Village provides improved accessibility, ample parking, and a welcoming plaza environment for customers. The larger space will allow YoChef’s to expand operations and offer a full service restaurant.
YoChef’s Kitchen is a chef-driven neighborhood café in Grand Rapids featuring fresh ingredients, comfort classics, and signature brick oven dishes. Created by Chef Joseff VanHorn, the menu offers elevated breakfast favorites, smash burgers, handcrafted flatbreads, and toasted sammies, along with approachable dinner options like braised pot roast and fresh salmon. With a focus on quality and flavor, YoChef’s Kitchen delivers a modern café experience that flows from breakfast and brunch to lunch and early dinner.

In addition to YoChef’s Catering Company, the business also operates Catering Concepts and a mobile kitchen known as the “Star Ship,” a fully equipped food truck capable of producing a wide range of menu items for events throughout the region. “We’re excited about this next chapter for our business,” said Chef Joseff VanHorn. “The new location gives us the opportunity to expand our offerings and continue serving the community that has supported us for many years.”
YoChef’s Kitchen is expected to operate **Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The restaurant will be closed on Mondays.
