Holly began her career in residential real estate, working alongside her mother, who spent nearly 40 years in the industry. Following the housing market downturn in 2007, Holly returned to Shanghai, China, where she taught high school before relocating back to Grand Rapids in 2018.

Outside of work, Holly is actively involved in animal rescue and fosters senior and recovering cats until they find permanent homes. She is also an avid hockey fan and enjoys attending Grand Rapids Griffins games with her father as a season ticket holder. In her free time, Holly enjoys reading, cross-stitching, writing, and participating in a local writers group. She is also involved in her church community and values the relationships and connections she has built there over the years.
